Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Files Complaint Against Imposters Posing As Their Casting Agents And Telling Them, ‘You Should Die And Sushant Should Come Back’
Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms has responded to the fraudulent activity of an imposter posing as their casting agent. After learning about it they filed a police complaint with the authorities at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.
For the past few days, Television actors have been complaining about a fraudster, who’s posing as Ekta Kapoor’s production house Balaji Telefilms' casting agent. SpotboyE had exclusively revealed the screenshots of the imposter who has been asking the actor to commit suicide. TV actor Namish Taneja had shared screengrabs of his chat with the fake casting agent with SpotboyE who had told him, ‘People like you should die and Sushant should come back.’ Well, this not only shocked everyone but also the makers. Now Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji had responded to this fraudulent activity and filed a police complaint with the authorities at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.
Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Production released a statement on their social media handle and stated, “We, at Balaji Telefilms Ltd, would like to state that the said person who has sent this message is a fraudulent individual, who is posing to be our casting agent and sending extremely poor in taste communication to aspiring actors. We are neither associated with her in any capacity nor do we know this person. As soon as we were intimated about this matter, yesterday, we filed a police complaint with the authorities at Amboli Police Station against the said individual. We request you not to entertain such imposters.”
Balaji happened to release the statement after a user Magali Vaz tagged Ekta Kapoor and Balaji asking them to clear the air. Read the thread below:
Hey @ektarkapoor @balajimotionpic @BTL_Balaji @altbalaji are you going to answer for this? 🤯 https://t.co/HSMnIzwnv7

Speaking in detail about the same scenario Namish Taneja told SpotboyE, “I was getting WhatsApp messages, SMS and calls from this number when I messaged her what exactly she (I assumed she was a girl after I saw her display picture on Whatsapp) wanted, she told me that she is casting for Balaji Telefilms and wanted to cast me for Naagin 5, I requested her to send the details. Though she failed to provide the details in a professional way, still I gave her the benefit of the doubt, but while chatting I realised something is corny.”
Hey @balajimotionpic one if your casting agents said “people like you should die” because we could not send 2 auditions. pic.twitter.com/ZfUVAU1m2Q

“Earlier also I had received calls from Balaji, and they are utter professionals and this girl (God knows whether she is a girl or a boy) was a bit rude and weird. Later, when I stopped replying, she started using bad words and asked me to commit suicide. I wonder, what kind of people are these? And what do they get from doing such things? What will these fake casting/creative directors get after chatting with the actors?” he had told us.
